Kiddie Club began in the summer of 1999 with a mother's dream. To start something in Geneva that would mirror the warmth and companionship she had so enjoyed as a new mother in her home town Johannesburg. It started with a playgroup for children from 8 months to 3 1/2years old. They were accompanied by their mom or dad, gran or nanny and came for 1 and 1/2 hours of educational fun and games.
It grew into a toy shop to satisfy the needs of the discerning parents that wanted reasonably priced, very educational toys and books for their family. As the children grew, the programs grew to follow them and Kiddie Club now offers programs for children up to the ages of 9 with their fun Summer Camps, Language courses and regular Arts and Crafts Sessions. After a vary scary accident, Nicola Fehlmann, the founder of Kiddie Club, realised the need for an English First Aid course for parents.
This she did with Dr. Alessandro Diana and it was the first of a number of courses now offered for parents with various professionals on a large range of parenting issues. The latest development from Kiddie Club, is the work they are doing to provide a free networking service to the community with their page "Classifieds" and their regular e-mails concerning all sorts of issues that are relevant to families living in the area.
Kiddie Club has made a difference to 100's of families with their children's programs, their adult's courses, the great toys and books and being the people to contact when needing any sort of information concerning your family in Geneva.
